A client who had approached us for other services was curious about how we measured up to the price of his online quoted of his personal auto insurance policy. Although our answer was that we weren’t competitive in price, we did however see that the coverage that he had chosen online was insufficient to cover him properly. “Your interest is our concern”
A client with multiple fast food franchise locations approached us to better understand how they could maximize cash flow as they did not qualify for the loans necessary for further expansion. The bank they were with did not use a straight amortization schedule and therefore the client had to include a larger principal payment every month. This combined with the fact that the interest rate being charged was higher than market was the main reason for the strain on cash flow.
Our Solution: We assisted placing the loan with another lender with an interest rate 20% less than what was being paid currently combined with a longer amortization schedule. The savings in interest and the lower debt payment increased cash flow whereby qualifying the business for a line of credit for continued expansion. The overall impact resulted in a 8% growth in the first year of operations after the debt restructuring and an increase in net cash flow of over 12% to bottom line with no additional capital required on the part of the client.
